In this episode, journalist and producer Julius Purcell explores the remarkable return of #wolves to #Germany after 150 years of extirpation. Hear how Germany is learning to coexist with these iconic predators, the challenges that remain, and why the success of the wolf’s comeback is so significant.

Met them at dinner in the early days of their odyssey. They’d just been GIVEN a house with 18 acres of land! I remember her faux naive all-in-a-daze response to their good fortune. Conversation was 1-way & hard work. I was asked to interview RW at a literary festival for her second book & declined.
