I’m exhausted because I care, because I’ve been responsible, because I’ve been trying to make life function under conditions that would drain anyone. especially while managing my own health.

What I’ve been carrying is heavy. I’ve been doing the kind of invisible work that doesn’t come with rest or recognition: holding things together, anticipating problems, protecting everyone else, absorbing the chaos when systems fail.

Currently looks at old photos of myself before my face had a single wrinkle. I wish I never took up smoking, because it’s true, it ruins your skin kids! Although I did my best with coping with life the best I knew how at the time. Today I don’t smoke. 🚭
