An obvious point I don't see enough people making: ICE claims that they're only arresting criminals, but we already have a system for that: local police, state police, and the FBI. If the goal was to catch criminals, why was the CBP funded instead of the FBI?

Every ActBlue donor just got an email blast with a "personal, hand written" note from Kamala Harris which says basically nothing other than, and I'm paraphrasing, "we need an arbitrary amount of money before an arbitrary deadline so that we can continue ineffectively electing ineffective Democrats".

This Simpsons gag is 30 years old and it still perfectly describes the Christian Right. They had a "hands off our children" rally in Seattle where they somehow reverse-engineered the existence of trans people into a threat to kids.
