28 years teaching history and government, how democracy rises, falls, and how people make the difference.
Now it’s time to use my teacher voice in the halls of Congress.
History is watching and silence won’t do
Pinned
I’ve spent decades doing the work that doesn’t make headlines, teaching, serving, showing up.
That’s how I’ll serve in Congress too.
Solving problems. Putting Nevada first.
Nevada deserves someone who stands up.

The best way to lead is by listening
I heard you loud and clear Lovelock when you said you want affordable healthcare, housing and economy that puts people over profits

Campaign Update: Mark Amodei drops out and despite a few hard punches, I’m still standing up and fighting for Nevada and standing up for democracy

The dawn of new day reminds us, if like the sun we rise together, listen to one another, stand together and work together we can overcome all that stands in our way… even a nasty cold

We came together in Elko to remember Renee Good.
This isn’t about parties or talking points, it’s about a human life lost.
Policies have consequences. Silence does too.

820 miles border to border and back again. Today was an incredible day driving the entire length of CD02. It was a 17 hour day that left me feeling energized and hopeful. Thank you Carson City for bringing the heart and the energy. See everyone in Elko tomorrow.

Great day in Carson City. We started out in the darkness and came into the light of day. There will always be hope when we come and stand together for democracy and the rule of law

When I’m elected, I’ll put in the time, put in the miles, show up, listen, learn and work hard for Nevada!

We are gathering peacefully in Winnemucca to call on Congress to do its job.
The Constitution gives Congress, not the President, the power to authorize war and foreign military action.
This is about accountability, the rule of law, and standing up for democracy.
Peaceful. Lawful. Constitutional.
January 4, 2026 at 6:12 AM
The Constitution is clear. Article I, Section 8 gives Congress, not the president, the power to declare war.
There is no question Nicolás Maduro was a brutal dictator, but that does not erase constitutional limits.

President Carter has long since been my favorite President. From sharing the same birthday and faith, to love of peanuts and good music. As I make my own run for office, I look to people like President Carter and @warnock.senate.gov who both set the standard for what public service should look like
One year since we lost President Jimmy Carter. He was one of my heroes, a living example of faith come alive through the noble work of public service. His life’s project was human dignity, and his legacy will long outlive us all.

We saw Wells, Elko and Winnemucca today, before arriving in Carson City. We saw where railroad workers connected our country, ranchers kept us fed and miners grew our nation’s treasury. Rural towns aren’t just pitstops along the highway, they’re the heartbeat of our economy.

Thank you, Carson City Dems, for a great evening of conversation and community. It was an honor to speak with you, and just as important, to listen, learn, and hear what matters most to you.

First stop on the Home Means Nevada tour is Wells, Nevada.
A town that knows how to survive. Fire once tried to destroy this small ranching and railroad town. The people rebuilt.
That resilience still defines Wells today. They preserve their history while building a future rooted in strong work ethic

Hitting the campaign trail today with my grandson. From West Wendover to Carson City. Time to show him all the great places that make up CD02 and why Home Means Nevada. Then off to the Carson City Dems Christmas Party
