I have to be super honest about the new TOME app. It is not what I thought it would be. It’s basically Goodreads but if everyone only read the same 2-3 authors. It’s not very user friendly and I don’t have the energy to figure it out to make it work for me.

Did every author posting to TikTok make millions? No.
So many of them made a livable wage though. I watched authors quit their day jobs because their books were more profitable. I watched authors cry seeing page reads pass expectations. Authors lives were changed even if they weren’t bestsellers

Sigh.
There are SO MANY indie authors who absolutely killed it on TikTok. No, they weren't hitting lists, but they were generating sales and income. SO FUCKING MANY.
