IMO, the lead is buried in the last post in this thread about Musk and Tesla's business supports from govt funding, with Bezos quoted as saying something like Musk's real superpower is getting government money.
Invest in supports for business =yes from Musk. But for people? No way.

1/ Over the years, Musk & his businesses have received at least $38 billion in government contracts, loans, subsidies & tax credits, often at critical moments. That money helped seed the growth that made him the world’s richest person. The payments stretch back more than 20 years.
