Exactly. Rural hospitals will close for everyone, no matter who you voted for. And then the overcrowded remaining hospitals will have no room for you. I wish red state voters could see how this will play out. It will devastate health care.

America will not be great when people begin to Find Out. It will be great when people care about the well-being of people not like them, with problems not like theirs. Finding out and changing your mind is still All About Me. Real change comes from a bar set higher.

People who don't have Medicaid will still be hurt by cuts in Medicaid because hospitals, especially rural ones, will go broke and close, and then where will you go? Insurance will mean nothing if there's no institution to take it.

I'm very worried about this on every level.
How long until the Library of Congress faces a purge? Should historians be getting what resources they can now? I'm imagining anything related to the civil rights movement, anti-fascism, and even public health could be gone soon.
