In July 2022, over the span of 3 months, I watched The Untamed, then I read MDZS, then I watched the Donghua. My friend was enthusiastically cheering for me, and we chatted about the experience every day. Then, when I still wanted more, she sent me a very well-read MDZS fic of 180k words.
