It was so good to have Jim and the team come by to visit with some of my neighbours and friends in Arnold’s Cove
I had an excellent time out canvassing in Arnold's Cove with our candidate for Placentia West-Bellevue Jasmine Paul. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak to us. I know that Jasmine will be a strong voice for the people of this district.

Remember younger millennials and Gen Z don’t remember the Harper years, it’s why they are buying Poilievre’s bullshit. Us olds need to inform them what a nightmare his mentor was.

Sorry about all the weird words, for some reason my autocorrect has started replacing my typos with words that don’t fit in the context of the sentence. It just turned a misspelling of sentence into “Santa w” ????

It was fun during the meeting to watch everyone try to figure me out with my note taking and direct questions. No one ever expects I am a fisherman too and I think it’s important to remind people that fishermen aren’t just angry old farts! Sometimes we are angry young farts who love science

There were also two union reps there who I didn’t speak to or have any questions for, but the other fishermen did haha.

They only have the one staff, which is who I spoke to, so she said I could email anytime I had a concern or if I was worried they were missing information about something. They deal with the offshore, so projects intended for offshore that are build or moved inshore, and how that impacts fisheries

OneOcean is also involved, asking as a liaison between industries. They use programs administered by ffaw to communicate with the oil industry. I asked if anyone could report to them as it doesn’t seem fair to get fishery info only from ffaw because they represent both industries.

They have buoys in place to minor water conditions near where they are dredging and stuff but since people have noticed weird water in other places, I suggested they move the buoys away following the current to be sure it’s not just moving

I found out it will take 24 hours to move the structure from Argentia to Bar Haven where it still be moored off and filled with ballast while the other part comes from Texas. This will happen in May
