I am not going to repost the vile and racist image that Trump posted last night of President & First Lady Obama because it is beyond disgusting. Trump is a vile racist as is every Republican that continues to support him. I don’t want to hear mumbling from Mike Johnson or stoic silence from Thune.

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I don’t see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.

Decide. Who are you?

"In theater" is a nice touch for describing Minneapolis. Worth noting the people involved, from Trump to Miller to Noem to Homan to Bovino to the majority of ICE and CBP goons, have never served in the military. They're playing out a war fantasy, dressing up in army costumes, like incredible losers.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

So she had a pulse. That’s what the doctor on the scene wanted to check. She wasn’t breathing, but she had a pulse. He could have started CPR right away.

Instead ICE barred the doctor from attending her and waited 15 mins for EMT to get to her.

Important clarification that I wish the media would make.
The Insurrection Act is not "martial law." It doesn't displace civilian law, it doesn't suspend habeas corpus, it doesn't alter or suspend state and local government, and it doesn't make anything newly illegal. It allows using the military to enforce existing law, it doesn't change what the law is.

Gaslighting. Nothing about the posture of China or Russia has changed recently. The only recent change is a deranged POTUS and team suggesting military action to steal Greenland from Denmark if the Temper Tantrum in Chief does not get his way. Also, Release the Epstein Files and Stop Kavanaugh Stops
VARNEY: Troops from Germany, France, Sweden, and Norway are taking part in a military exercise in Greenland. What kind of message are they sending to America?

MARKWAYNE MULLIN: Well, I don't think this is a message to the US. This is a message to China and Russia.

Gaslighting. Obama advocated for a nutritious diet for children w/ lots of fruits + veggies and minimal processed foods and for physical activity for kids. What $3 Rollins is saying here is an outright lie. The real fat is in her BIG FAT LIES. Also, Release the Epstein Files and Stop Kavanaugh Stops
Brooke Rollins: "What in the world happened? We got so off course 15 years ago on what's really good & healthy for kids. Michelle Obama really pushed that. It was an era of, 'Whatever you do, don't drink fat or eat fat even if it's healthy natural fat.' Now we're getting back to real common sense."

Even as critics of water fluoridation point to other sources of fluoride as an alternative — usually in the name of individual choice — many are creating barriers to these same products.

This study is very important, and it accords with my own observations: When FDA expanded access to mifepristone, it followed the evidence. If anything, it's the continuing restrictions on access that are out of line with the evidence.
