Members of Congress: stop posting online and APPEAR, PHYSICALLY on the steps of the Capitol to decry this unconstitutional violation of domestic & international law. SHOW THE PEOPLE the level of danger we are facing as a country.

FOLKS NEED TO REALIZE HOW HUGE THIS IS

For the first time in modern Texas history, Dems have candidates running in every state and federal race on the 2026 ballot.

That includes all congressional seats, every state House and state Senate race, plus statewide judicial and State Board of Education.

Artists need only art supplies and time to work to create magic! Where ever they are.
Using floor wax and colored pencils, John W. Zenc creates his own acrylic paints. His art has earned him the nickname “Picasso.” Here’s how the 65-year-old, working with Q-tips and toothpicks, has become a remarkably resourceful artist.
In Prison, They Call Me Picasso
Nicknamed Picasso in his California prison, artist John W. Zenc uses homemade acrylic paint and Q-tips to create his idiosyncratic artworks.

As promised, a thread of nautical canines! Here’s ‘HMV’, rescued from floating wreckage in the Atlantic by the sloop HMS Freetown in 1944. His unusual name came from the way he was sitting when rescued, which resembled the dog used in the record company’s advertising.

Epstein redactions aren't believable, and they are valuable to fascists specifically because they aren't believable.

Fascists prefer lies to truth. Believing in a lie is preferable to believing a truth, if what you want is to dominate.

Believing lies dominates truth. So they believe lies.

My original thought was it’s a horror that Trump is in office for America’s 250th anniversary. Now I’m pleased that we will be reminded by our founders every day in 2026 that they fought to free themselves from a tyrannical despot and we must, too.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Trump’s “enraged” that the media is giving major news coverage to what everyone sees: the age, the decline, the not so slow fade. And he can’t spin it away.

Bonus: folks online are calling him “Sleepy Don” because he keeps nodding off in meetings like it’s nap time at Mar a Lago.

Keep it up 👊🏽
