I've got about nine million things to do, and it was making me a bit 🥴. So I took a step back from all of them for a bit, and did this instead. Please admire the gloriousness of my autumn ribbon wreath.

It's my birthday today. This beautiful little one should have celebrated her 41st birthday on the day I was born, and her 88th birthday today. Instead, she was sent to Auschwitz less than a month after her 7th birthday. It matters that we remember her.
27 April 1937 | Czech Jewish girl, Ruth Fischerová, was born in Prague.

She was deported from Theresienstadt ghetto to #Auschwitz on 18 May 1944. She was placed in the family camp BIIb at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. She did not survive.

This week, I've seen women from different religions, backgrounds, theologies & politics unite to put their names to this.

When faith groups talk about protecting the vulnerable, it isn’t “mere theology”, as some would dismiss it. @theosthinktank.bsky.social

Progress on #GenderEquality in health care is too slow.
Women have distinct & changing health needs at different stages of their lives. Health care should be easy to access, fair & tailored to meet each woman’s unique needs & circumstances.
