Today at Synod, I spoke about poverty and the Church, reflecting on 40 years since the Faith in the City report was first published. We give thanks for the enduring impact of that report and we recommit ourselves to ending poverty in all its forms.

Honoured to be in the House of Lords yesterday as Dame Sarah Mullally, Archbishop of Canterbury, took her seat, alongside the Rt Revd Dr Joanne Grenfell, Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. The Rt Revd Debbie Sellin, Bishop of Peterborough & I were present for oaths of allegiance to the Monarch.

following her Confirmation of Election at St Paul’s. I look forward to working alongside Bishop Sarah in helping lead our church so that we can be simpler, humbler and bolder in our living and sharing of the Gospel.
