Some really exciting news 🎉 Scottish Greens have selected our candidates for Holyrood 2026 elections and I'm #2 on the list for Edinburgh & Lothians East! Which means I am in with a good chance of being elected in May 🤩

Alongside the wonderful @lornaslater.bsky.social and @qmanivannan.bsky.social 💚
Today's Labour Party announcement is absolutely vile and I am ashamed to be a UK citizen today.

Sending all the love and solidarity out to all my friends in this country who have come here seeking asylum, as a refugee or as a migrant. I hope you know you are loved and valued. We will fight this.

The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture

Rights not rescue!

Join Scotland for Decrim & others rallying for sex workers' rights, & against the Nordic Model that puts them at risk of harm, violence, poverty & exploitation.
Driving sex workers underground will not keep them safe!

Mamdani: Whether you are an immigrant, a member of the trans community, one of the many black women that Donald Trump has fired from a federal job, a single mom still waiting for the cost of groceries to go down, or anyone else with their back against the wall—your struggle is ours too

The job of the radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing!

Mamdani shows:
- you don't have to pander to the right to win
- solidarity with trans people is popular
- people want leaders to speak out against genocide
- we must tax wealth

Scottish politics must learn from this.

With your support, we can elect Kate Nevens, an unapologetic feminist and left-wing voice to the Scottish Parliament as a Green MSP.

Any contribution will make a huge difference to our people-powered campaign to deliver a record 3 Green MSPs for Edinburgh!

Really thoughtful discussion last night at @lighthousebks.bsky.social w/ authors from the most recent Scottish Left Review (inc the awesome Glasgow Green Councillor @danhutchison.bsky.social) about how we might coalesce as the left in Scotland & what we'd like to see from the nascent Your Party

Fabulous morning doorknocking in Leith this morning. Almost everyone I spoke to was a green voter who cared about housing, Palestine, migrant justice, challenging the rise of the far right and/or LGBTQ rights.

Leith you are wonderful and have my heart 💚🍉

The success of the far right is not only measured in votes and seats but in its impact on rhetoric, policy and ideology. The fact that a (nominally) social democratic head of government with a huge majority choses to say and do this is maybe the biggest success of the far right in Europe yet.

I’m pleased to be proposing this motion today 🇵🇸

The Scottish Government took a big step forward in supporting BDS calls from Green MSPs, but now they must do the same for Councils ⚖️

New powers need to be granted to local authorities or else the government position is just warm words ❌ 💬 🤷
