Hiii, I want to give this a try, a small introduction, I mainly do space/science related posters and illustration.

Remember the poster inspired by stained glass?
Well, I decided to actually try making a mini version, in real glass. I haven't cut or solder glass in my entire life. Maybe starting with 32 pieces was a bad idea.

I forgot I could’ve just painted glass instead.

It’s awful. I love it.

A bunch of embroidered patches. They were made in felt fabric. They are two pairs of tree hoppers, adult and baby stages. I was trying to go accurate at first, but I liked adding cute patterns to them later whoops A bunch of polymer clay pins in a black background. This pins are coated in resin so they can be cleaned easily. There are caterpillars, leaf bugs, a stag beetle and a weevil More embroidered patches. These are a pair of a yellow leaf bugs and another tree hoppers, the tree hoppers have a cherry blossom pattern A scale pic of an arapaima polymer clay pin, Space marines also for scale lol

May's temperatures (at last). Another warm month - warmer than the last two years as you can see from the orange colours, though chillier nights (more purple) - I'm guessing that's because of the clear skies and lack of rain. #temperatureembroidery

Centipedes are highly misunderstood creatures, so I’m really happy to hear multiple requests on drawing those beautiful danger noodles (leggy version)! Their “fangs” are actually a pair of modified legs, and those curly antennae are my favorite parts

Made this after a trip where I found myself staring at stained glass in old churches for way too long. Not sure it’s finished, but I needed to let it go for now.

Open to thoughts, might revisit it later. It’s about the black hole that formed after two binary stars collided
