There are worse places to work. Long four days though - and this is the only time I see the place in daylight.

Current view. Unfortunately not holiday but working - I barely saw the outside world yesterday! Glorious start though.

Nipped out and picked up another 50+ intact windfalls from the garden and there are still some on the tree. It's been an insane year of apples. And a lot of crumble.

It’s no Fail Whale but it’s a decent effort.

This is the moment you discover exactly how many of the sites you visit daily are AWS hosted. Amazon itself is down of course - but worse, Wordle!
PSA: we're aware that Signal is down for some people. This appears to be related to a major AWS outage. Stand by.

Comic cons are even more fun when sitting next to Atticus Finch Wobbly Cat and his protégée Pandora. Both have cerebral palsy, and they dress up to raise money 2Wish and disabled cats.

Ah, Suburbia! They opened with this in the summer. Great song, a treat to see them live even - gulp- close to 40 years later. #totp

I started playing Pokemon Go again recently.
I am 13 hearts (two days) from finishing the fiendishily hard Eevee evolution challenge to pass triumphantly to Level 41.
Sudden upgrade: all the levels have changed, I'm now 'Level 58' with a 'Legacy 41' medal.

Robbed of the triumph. Sulking.

It’s one of those Mondays. Met this lovely chap last year and it’s absolutely awful to hear about his MND diagnosis.

This is very sad. I have a secret shelf full of Jilly Cooper books and *love* the Rivals adaptation.

I succeeded in commandeering the remote to watch #totp last week. The 90s spread was so bad I’ve lost out to the rugby this week.

No.2 daughter has just left on a driving lesson. If she’s driving successfully in these conditions, I’m slightly more comfortable about the fact she gets her hands on MY car for the first time from Monday.

Launch day! Near future cybercrime thrillers - bit of cyberpunk, lots of tech, and remarkably 'cosy' according to my editor (cats, family etc). Both of these are out NOW on Amazon, Kobo, Apple and the like - book 6 of the SimCavalier series, and the completed second trilogy. mybook.to/QuantumBreach
