That has reminded me! I am part way through this (I'm *terrible* at getting through books that aren't audio format) but every time I've picked it up I can't put it down, have never felt so connected to a main character in a book

Kerella, the main character of the Casa Martyrs, is beautifully, authentically autistic. Her decision making might not make sense to neurotypicals - but isn’t that the point of a GREAT BOOK with amazing writing? To teach us to view things from different angles? (She makes total sense btw)

Yuletide is upon us and I decided to incorporate some of the Norse gods I work with into my mix and match Advent this year. For each week, I contemplate a deity, asking them for wisdom. Remembering the night in the countryside, when I saw the Milky Way for the first time in my life. We arrived at our accommodation quite late. I looked up and was brought to tears, it was so beautiful. My ex told me to hurry up and make dinner, as “it’s only stupid stars he saw a million times”.
