This again? I’ll say the same thing I said in regards to Stalin. People in the 1950s and 1960s did not have the same views on LGBT rights as people in 2026 do. Castro changed his views later in life and apologized. Let’s address how the average American thought in the 1960s.

Trotsky was literally fomenting an insurrection on the eve of a nazi invasion. He and the left opposition were literally doing assassinations and sabotage and trying to hand the USSR to the nazis on a silver platter. He should have been killed years earlier.
