Marcellus Williams execution was unjust everyone can agree on this. Whether or not he was innocent or not is irrelevant. People strongly claiming his innocence or guilt undermine what actual process should have taken place.

It's absolutely tragic how little attention there is for the situation in Sudan. It's somewhat understandable as there is a lot less vested interest in the region, but the discrepancy is kind of mind boggling.

I think history classes fail to teach people how terrible war actually is. Looking at online sentiment it feels like people only just realize how many innocents die and how normal that is for war.

I don't understand 8 minute rounds of applause at movie premieres. I'm not clapping for anything for 8 minutes. A chimpanzee could deliver a human baby by c-section then sit down at a piano and play a flawless Chopin movement. Sure, I'll stand, but I'm only clapping for like 2 minutes, tops.

I've got waaaay to many random cat pictures in my recommended feed, but it feels terrible to pick a random picture and select "show me less like this". Sorry Mr. Cat it's not personal.

My next goal will be implementing my new TTRPG setting in cortex prime. Got to make sure I post this so that I can keep myself accountable, and the project does not end up on the garbage pile that is my "backlog".

I'm old enough to remember when a computer didn't automatically connect to the internet, it used to make a screaming noise. We should have listened.

I was afraid that Bsky was a bit too normal, and reasonable. But rest assured I've already read quite a few out of touch and terminally online opinions.

It is still crazy to me that Fate/zero and the other fate animes are the same franchise. When people ask me if I like fate, it feels like walking into a minefield.

I initially created the crap guides as a way to get my friends into monster hunter, but never really considered them great proper "guides" to teach people how to play, moreso a fun silly showcase

maybe an actual new player guide for when Wilds releases might be in order 🤔

#TTRPGs are so nice for developing new skills. The obvious ones being writing and improv, but they also give you a goal when you want to practice drawing, programming and organizational skills.

I'm getting too comfortable with technology, I formatted my hard drive assuming cloud saves would save my BG3 saves. They did not.

It's interesting to see that a lot of what I dislike about DND is also tedious in BG3. You would expect that long resting, rations, spell slots and "attrition style" gameplay would work better in videogame form. And while the administration is better, the resource juggling is still a slog.

Me, driving with my 9yo and 10yo sons through downtown LA, hoping they'll appreciate the change of scenery and the vibrant activity: "Boys, look around. It's the big city. See all the buildings and people?"

10yo: "This place looks like it's been griefed."

I wish there were sports that were fun to do, but you could also just do at any time.

The venn diagram, of sports I enjoy, and for which I don't have to organize at least 4 people to show up at the same time is two circles.
