I don't really think it's that complicated. City were slightly the better side for 50-odd minutes, barring two major errors. By design, the performance wasn't 90mph -- Guardiola said this week that they get destroyed in games that are.

When did we become so unserious?
#ManCity sources are indicating that neither Bruno Guimaraes or Martin Zubimendi are transfer targets for the upcoming January transfer window.

That 2nd half was so spineless and inept. Inexcusable performance

Ruben Dias was outstanding against Crystal Palace yesterday, and without him City may have left Selhurst Park with nothing.

Grealish in midfield 🧵

I think it is interesting and he potentially offers a lot.

Firstly, I think his game is better suited to the 8 role Gundogan has played in the last few years as opposed to the 8/10 role De Bruyne and Foden are best in 1/

I’m 99.9% certain one of us at @shadesofbluenw.com mentioned this as a solution months ago. Happy Pep finally tried it. Best way to play him and Doku together in their natural positions.
Could switching Jack Grealish to a central position be the catalyst for a Manchester City revival?

When you see what real wingers can do out wide it only makes sense to move Grealish inside. All the things people hated him for getting applauded as a midfielder

Spot on. Kevin’s presence lifts the team. Aura
Manchester City were in a desperate need of some inspiration over their winless run. As it has been so many times before it was Kevin De Bruyne who provided it against Nottingham Forest. He was absolutely superb last night.

When Manchester City needed a lift a club legend provided it.
When Manchester City needed a lift a club legend provided it. Kevin De Bruyne showed just how much his team had missed him during their win over Forest.

I completely appreciate its only one game but Grealish could really make that 8 spot his own. Needs to keep the performances up and stay fit.

Manchester City with Kevin De Bruyne are a different beast. Yes we might not win any trophies this season but I don’t care - as long as he is playing we are fun to watch and that’s all I care about

Agree with everything apart from the Wharton shout because the state we’re in right now we’d just kill him
Plan for the next 2 weeks:

- Beat Palace away one way or another (tap up Wharton while we're there)

- Avoid defeat to Juve.

- Slap the Rags at home (sing 'never felt more like singing the blues')

- Get pics of Bobb in training.

- Feel better!
