Due to injuries and AFCON, it has felt like Omar Marmoush has become Manchester City's forgotten man. He was superb against Wolves as he grabbed a goal and put himself about while he was on the pitch.

Marc Guehi will make his Manchester City debut today against Wolves. He has a massive role to play in City's defence with his leadership and ability to marshal a defence. Also, his ability to play an intelligent cross-field pass may be worth watching for.

Tijjani Reijnders has shown flashes of what he is capable of this season. I think he'll be a lot better next season but he has to do more in games as he tends to drift out of matches for far too long.

Hopefully Nico is back this weekend for Manchester City's must-win match against Wolves. Rodri needs the support as he battles his way back to full fitness and form.

There is also another midfield option for Pep Guardiola to consider also.

Injuries have played a part clearly but the past month has reminded me that this Manchester City team is one in transition. They are also attempting to contend for honours and typically, those two phases of a team's growth don't go hand in hand.
