People are arguing over the use of AI in video games. We know AI is a cost saving measure at its core when used within video games. Creative human beings being replaced with AI takes away from the artistic harmonics between the story, graphics, and coding. Artistry automated is not artistry at all.

I was mainly a console gamer growing up. I played all the GTAs on launch (midnight release, baby) and I was always super bummed at GTA launch delays. Now I primarily game on PC so I haven’t cared about delays since I couldn’t play them anyway. I recently got a PS5 and now I can be sad, again. ☹️🎉

Happy 25th Birthday, PS2! These are the 4 PS2 games that have a special place in my memories. Each started an appreciation for a specific genre of gaming that I still play to this day. Special attention to the FFXI PS2 HDD that was required to play!

A game’s movement style is how the player interacts with the game. It is a significantly different gameplay experience if movement changes dramatically. I don’t play COD because of the “zoomer” style gameplay. I won’t play Battlefield if it molds itself into “COD with vehicles”.
