Wow they care about housing now?! Oddly I haven’t seen one MAGA address limiting private equity from buying homes. Many aren’t even based in the U.S. & their predatory practice of buying so many after Covid driving up housing nationwide pricing out the average household.

Yes, there were problems that proper oversight should have dealt with, however releasing the masses of mental patients into ill equipped communities wasn't the answer. For example, some were placed in group homes with inadequate care, and ended up frequent ER visitors simply needing attention.

He probably doesn't know about Reagan closing the state mental hospitals, trashing inpatient mental health, dumping all these people in the community who really can't handle independence. So homelessness blew up, they get hungry, or lonely, and the ER staff, EMS drivers become family. It's sad.

In my entire life, I've never seen any President actively ask the Supreme Court to intervene so that they don't have to feed hungry people.
