i'm older than the DHS and have never seen it do anything good for The Average American (whatever that means) in my entire life. i have seen it be a big racism lever that every administration loves to pull like that dril tweet tho
DHS is just a relic from the overreaction to 9/11 and all the opportunistic skullduggery that took advantage of it. There was never any need for it. Let it be dead. Its abrupt dissolution will be a bit chaotic but fuck it we ball.
