Reading the amazing digital circus subreddits makes me realize that a significant portion of this fandom does not understand subtext like at all and it's genuinely concerning for a show all about its characters

What a year it has been! Very soon I will hit 2 years of doing digital art, and art in general :D

I keep on waiting for the day that enough people move away from twitter and accept this site as the better replacement.

Big thing here. Make what you love. If you believe in your heart that you created this with your own imagination and motivation, that's enough. It's okay if there's something similar out there too, that just means the two of you share that same passion
This also applies to cartoons and comics and basically everything. It doesn’t matter if you have a concept of something already out there. If you love it, do it. Your work will have your unique mark on it by virtue of being made by YOU. (Also two cakes.)
Indie Dev discovers the game they're making basically already exists, worried of being deemed a ripoff. Original dev responds.
