This is the only newsletter I subscribe to! You should become a member as well! Lots of thought provoking content, a great community space and I especially enjoy Alicia's Desk Book Club! I have learnt so much by being a member.
I'm doing an end-of-year push for my newsletter in order to bankroll a new publication I'll be launching in 2026. Annual membership is as low as $30 to provide access to a robust community, smart conversation, and culture work that can't be found elsewhere. www.aliciakennedy.news/upgrade

For #GoodFriday, I made these vegan #HotCrossBuns using Philip Khoury's recipe. It was delicious, soft and heavenly. I love them heavily spiced with a variety of dried fruits! I enjoy them with good butter and a few slices of cheddar cheese with a cup of tea!

I enjoy observing how my #ShadblowServiceberry tree transform with each season. This 5 year old tree has brought me so much joy after learning more about it. Can't wait to enjoy the #serviceberries in a couple of months.

It's Soup Saturday and this Okra Soup is one of my favorites to make from @koshersoul.bsky.social. This time I added @ranchogordo.bsky.social Christmas Lima Beans to it and it was so delicious and comforting!
