I think the only reprint I ever had was at the beginning of Pretty Deadly so it means a lot. Moreover considering this one, precisely, is embarrassingly personal and not that easy to read.

I see one useful takeaway of this sentiment tho, which is to remind yourself that maybe you don't need to repeat each line within a panel until it's ✨perfect✨.

in 2026 i would love to see cartoonists collectively let go of the resentment that "comics take years to make and moments to read." 🙏 the contrast in time creating vs time experiencing is true of all art. why complain that someone read your work? Chill out and enjoy meeting a reader on the page.
