My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

A day of multitudes, Happy Veterans Day to those who have served and still fight each day for what is right in this country. And for those of us, like myself, who find it hard to support our military, remember that my brothers were recruited right from our high school cafeteria during lunch.
personally, im overwhelmed processing being a sister to an older brother who served multiples tours in Afghanistan and also to a baby brother who is currently an active marine, who could be deployed within THIS country or abroad at any moment.

Incredibly (and not surprisingly) disappointed in my home state senator @shaheen.senate.gov
She was the governor when I was a child and I thought it was SO cool that we had a woman in charge, what a waste of that power right now as people face devastating health care and hunger

It is incredibly difficult to get through a “normal” day right now, with violence being inflicted on all of our people, and I keep reminding myself that I am so thankful to be feeling this instead of unaffected.
