Seriously? I like subtitles on, tbh, but this seems kinda bush league... Especially in a make-or-break year for destiny.

I love the retro futurism in this movie. It made me think that maybe it's time for a Jetsons movie.

I don't see any reason that Frontiers would be able to be out in a shorter time than the 1.5 years between expansions normally, so yeah, long Episode is my guess
Frontiers is getting delayed. Calling it now.

Like you said though its a hive episode and those tend to be good.

Minneapolis! I hear great things and I've been wanting to do a hockey trip there for years.

I definitely wasn't planning it today, but we somehow stumbled across a working design and consensus for one of #bevy 's thorniest #ecs problems: the storage of non-threadsafe data (`!Send`, for #rustlang). Make the entire `World` optionally thread-safe / unsafe, using a generic type parameter!
Eliminate `NonSend` resources by making `World` optionally `!Send` using generics · Issue #17517 · bevyengine/bevy
What problem does this solve or what need does it fill? NonSend resources are confusing (they don't impl Resource!), badly named (#13481), require API duplication and hamper us when implementing va...

‘Destiny 2’ Unveils Its Best Halloween Armor In History
There is not much to be positive about with Destiny 2 these days, but when I see a glimmer of something good, I feel like I should spotlight it.

Having worked on graphics engines in C++ in the past, I find that ECS is a bit of a different beast to wrap my head around. I'm sure it'll be easier once I get used to it.

@alice-i-cecile.bsky.social Do you happen to have a good tutorial for transform animations in 2D using Bevy (i.e. the best way to show a walk cycle for a sprite while moving the sprite)? I was trying to use github.com/Double-Dot-I... as a plugin, but I'm having some issues where it's not animating.

I love how #duolingo over the past few years of marketing has gone from "awe that's a cute owl" to "omg I need to get my lessons done or this owl is going to mess me up" lately. :joy:
