This was what Judge Millett was getting at today in the D.C. Circuit oral argument. If the government doesn't have to give you notice or a hearing before removing you from the country, what's to stop them from removing you - literally you, the person reading this - from the country tomorrow?
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

project 2025 is probably the media's single largest failure I think. there's a lot of grey areas and you can't please everyone, but it is factually true that they are doing large parts of it, people said they were going to do this, they lied about not doing it, and that could have been reported.

i'm not going to hand it to tom fucking cotton, but he is 100% correct here, and all of the people cheering not-yet-president-trump for telling tech companies to ignore a law passed with a bipartisan majority in congress are greasing a chute they do not realize they will be thrown down
