I don't know why people are assuming that EA Sports will come out fine in the buyout. With the way the NFL is forcing the deal to stay exclusive, I can legitimately see them just releasing actual direct reskins of Madden staffed by a skeleton crew.

This is simply untenable. There is no way forward with media and political classes captured by the right. Every time someone commits a crime you have to pray it's not an undesirable or it's purge time, then when it turns out to be themselves again they just shrug and wait for the next one.

I remember when certain people considered publications like NYT and WSJ to be infallible when they demonized gamers for decades, particularly in the 2010s. And only now have they realized just how bad those publications are because of how they treat trans people.
