As a hobbyist, sometimes it feels like my output for pixel art is lacking. I see so many people pumping out impressive works so frequently, but I'm proud of my lineup here for this year. Two sprite sheets, a few sprite animations, and a couple of smaller tribute pieces - this was a pretty good year!
My 2025 year-in-review for my pixel art. The year started off strong with an M&L-style sprite sheet for the Puff species of enemies from the Paper Mario series, followed by a few Togepi-related sprites inspired from Pocket TCG. I made the original Paper Mario partners in M&L-style as a Mar10 Day tribute shortly thereafter. My output from March into December was very quiet, but in the background I was working on a massive M&L-styled Donkey Kong sprite sheet, which took me forever! I am so happy I finally got that completed, it's probably my proudest sprite sheet to date. Finally, I worked on a small M&L-styled Goombella animation, which I will be aiming to create a sprite sheet for sometime early in 2026.

My Art Year in Review 2025!

I'm pretty happy with the quality of my work this year. A large majority of my time was spent working hard on commissions, but I also put care into pacing myself and creating a good schedule for healthy art output, so I could have time to nurture the passion for drawing!
