I never had TikTok...for reasons; but after the performative shutdown and resurrection, I would be very leary of whatever "deal" keeps it available in the US market.

We need data privacy legislation and media literacy requirements in K-12 education; not censorship.

Jen Easterly of CISA also agrees that Volt Typhoon has the potential to bring massive damage, without as many options for prevention. These hackers are already IN the systems, it's going to take awhile to weed them all out. In the meantime, average citizens can help, with securing their comms.
