ICE raids are not the first time this was made explicit. I think people downplay how much Jim Crow was not just about controlling Black people but it was also about controlling white people. If you thought racism was dumb and acted that way you could end up with a bomb in your home
Just keep coming back to the fact that keeping people in a constant state of terror is a form of mass disablement and essential to the eugenic project that is the United States.

As a home health aide, this frustrates the hell out of me. Especially when you consider how little of the money spent on home health care goes to those of us doing the work. The only suspicious thing about our industry is same as all US industries. The people getting paid don't do the actual work.
The largest generation in U.S. history is in their 70s now. And Stephen Miller’s podcaster wife thinks it’s suspicious that there’s a huge surge in home health aides.

Just read the first 2 issues of Matt Fraction's Batman. And I think I love it. Fraction and Batman are both hit or miss for me. But this, this I really dig.

Finally got around to watching Hellboy The Crooked Man.
Guillermo previously made some great movies about Hellboy. Then David Harbour gave a great performance as Hellboy.
This movie might not have the cinematic impact of any of those.
