Really? Ducks are the most common livestock in northern sweden/finland?? This map is obviously just some made up junk but what strikes me is how intricately constructed the fake data is. The longer you look the worse it gets. Don't even bother looking up the source because that's also made up.
Europe's livestock industry is booming. Beyond its one billion-strong chicken population, the EU counts 134 million pigs, 75 million cattle, and about 70 million sheep and goats.

I got back in the office from my summer vacation yesterday and spent the day catching up with emails. Alec had sent me a nice greeting after a conference. I replied without knowing he was travelling in Norway, let alone reported missing! I really hope he is okay :(

Debattens første spørsmål fra salen, fra rep fra Internasjonalt Reindriftssenter, rister godt i bordet som dette korthuset står på: "Jeg hører dere sier det er så god dialog. Men hvorfor er da ikke reindriftsnæringa invitert inn i dette panelet?"

Fikk snakka med dem om kofta. Har visstnok vært et prosjekt dem har jobba med i årevis som endelig kulminerte til et fullstendig antrekk i anledning til årets Sápmi pride.
