Growing up around cathedrals and basilicas didn’t have any meaning to me. Church was a chore. Visiting these churches and being able to explain symbols to my students though, I guess I learned a thing or two. #basilicadelpilar #zaragozaespaña

This morning’s walk ended with my now 5th grader in the playground. I watched him play and enjoy himself. I sometimes forget what a kid he still is. I hold on very hard to these times.

I’m a person who loves to read and getting my kids to also love it is a huge priority for me - and it’s still a LOT of work. It’s time, money, energy, and my own proficiency, and if ANY of those factors slip, so does this. This isn’t a Gen Z problem, this is systemic issues coming home to roost

Tried #sourdoughtortillas but I can’t remember if I used all-purpose or bread flour. They kept shrinking after each shape. The taste is unmatched along with the extra virgin olive oil that works to replace the lard agent.
