felt the need. i feel vastly under qualified to write something like this, but i also feel its especially important that we think about the way we use language
example:
I sometimes use a chinese keyboard or a spanish one, I sometimes use a VPN on my phone, and my device used to be set to Hindi and Chinese (in an attempt to learn the languages). I travel a lot.

because it is really goddamn notable that none of the big companies were bothering with age verification like this UNTIL these laws started being passed! like, this isn't something they *want* to deal with the complexity of if they don't need to! it's extra work!
