Highly recommend the podcast Main Justice co-hosted by @weissmann11.bsky.social and Mary McCord. Essential listening for expert analysis of current US legal shenanigans. I've been listening for a while - it used to be called Prosecuting Donald Trump. The hosts' righteous indignation is on point.

I think this is the closest many of us have ever got to seeing the real Trump. The only consistent thread in his entire unhinged rant was the love & praise for Vladimir Putin. Zelensky has more courage & dignity in his little finger than every member of Trump's regime & fan club combined.

Correct. If the birthdate field contains corrupt or mismatched data, it defaults to 1875-05-20, which serves as a flag. May 20, 1875, is the day the international standards and metrics treaty was signed. Everything is a conspiracy when you don’t know how anything works.

I could imagine someone getting stuck on spelling February, but November?!

I've not had much sleep. I can't begin to express how I feel about the US election. There has been swearing though. Am I just naïve?

Some excellent signage going on here!

If I don't get fit (and lose weight) at this new job it won't be because there aren't plenty of opportunities to exert myself. These are the steps (there is another flight further up) that lead to the station.

Accessible route and lift are available.

I recommend leaving a job occasionally to find out what people think of you. It's a bit like attending your own funeral. I feel very appreciated...but ready for a new challenge.

I finished a job on Thursday and start a new job on Monday. I'm technically unemployed currently. Feels weird.

The National Rail Enquiries app has been updated and no longer shows the live status of trains that have already left so I can't see the ETA for someone I am picking up. #verschlimmbesserung

Fascinated by these flag iris seedpods. Not entirely sure I've ever paid them much attention before now.

I've just watched the clip. I am dumbstruck. Unconscionable twaddle from KB.
Badenoch on Times Radio now saying she thinks maternity pay is bad and she wants to get rid of it. That will go down like a lump of lead. Also she's equally tetchy in this interview as earlier. Bit of a disaster today for her.

The cormorant is still here on Minster Pool.

I just heard a kid say that the train is due at 52 past. Is this common time-telling these days?

Seen on Minster Pool in Lichfield today. It flew off immediately after but I wasn't quick enough to video it in flight. A cormorant I believe.
