becoming a kitchen garden and dining experience, in keeping with the heritage of the surroundings. Watch this space.

Christmas at Edinburgh Botanics absolutely smashed it out of the botanical park! I mean, look at this fibre optic depiction of the mycelium networks beneath our feet… And accompanied by Danny Elfman’s music from Charlotte’s Web, which is completely in keeping. As wonderful as I’d hoped!

In search of a positive spin on the word ‘decay’ in terms of the natural breakdown of gardens in winter… The plants retreat & replenish their energy; fallen leaves nourish the soil; twigs and other matter make bug snugs for overwintering insects… @susiedent.com is there a positive word for decay?!

Haha, this is hilarious! “A delightful blend of botanical beauty and cheeky humor, like a garden party with a surprise stand-up act”.

Oh my goodness! How clever 💚
This Edinburgh Botanics light show installation is designed to illustrate mycelium networks. It’s almost as impressive in daylight as when lit up!

Absolute fury at this: United Utilities refusing to disclose data about sewage it's releasing into Windermere, because it's "not in the public interest."

Ditto data on ammonia checks from a UU Cunsey Beck plant; site of a 2022 mass fish-kill from pollution.
