Today I returned to Federal Plaza to observe court proceedings and support our neighbors attending their immigration hearings. As ever, numerous masked ICE agents filled the hall, hunting respondents, separating people from their families and communities regardless of their case status.

I’ve been informed of the death of a person at Marcy Correctional Facility last week as the result of deadly use of force by correctional staff.
