The business of #AIIC392 is moving ahead, electing members of committees and now moved on to amendments and resolutions.
We couldn't do it at all without all the volunteer interpreters that are taking part on site, attached to Zoom. I certainly needed them when Spanish was spoken!

At #AIIC329 we are paying respects to all our members who passed since January.
In particular, we remember Christopher Thiery, founding member and honorary president, who has had a long and illustrious career.
I remember interpreting him at #AIIC 's 50th anniversary. He was a great man.

On day 235 of Duolingo Chinese, and suddenly the lesson number I was on became way more advanced...
I had to go back an entire section - and now they also present it very differently, so am playing catch up.
Did this happen to anyone else?

I am feeling virtuous.
After 25 years of living in 1 place, we will move to a smaller place next year.

Am feeling quite proud of myself (AmEn "quite" NOT BrEn...).
Just finished book 2 of The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu.
I read book 1 last year, and will probably read 3 next year. It's an interesting (and true) world to be submerged in, but not 3 books in a row - at least not for me!

Am feeling quite proud of myself (AmEn "quite" NOT BrEn...).
Just finished book 2 of The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu.
I read book 1 last year, and will probably read 3 next year. It's an interesting (and true) world to be submerged in, but not 3 books in a row - at least not for me!
