Just because the venerable monks will head home in a few days, doesn’t mean the lessons we learned from them on their #WalkForPeace must end. Practice what you learned. Seek out more lessons, wisdom, and information to increase your knowledge. It won’t stop just because the walk will.

Plant seeds of peace and hope. Nurture them. Encourage them to spread. I got to see the venerable monks again this morning in Ashland, Va as they started their day’s journey. Hearing them chant the morning blessing was a beautiful, calming, and oh so memorable experience.

I had the most meaningful experience today. I got to witness the venerable monks on their #WalkForPeace twice today — Glen Allen and Ashland, Virginia.

I’ll have to catch up on my Sunday night PBS shows during the week. I went to bed super early last night due to a migraine. I’m looking forward to the newest episodes of #MissScarletPBS #AllCreaturesPBS

I saw this as a comment on a FB post. Y’all know who it’s about without any context whatsoever.

"When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king; the palace instead becomes a circus."

One of my friends texted me a video of a Waterboys song. Then he tells me he’s been drinking and singing to his dogs.

And what are YOU doing on this Friday night?

I keep waiting for certain characters to appear in Bridgerton. Then I have to remind myself that they were from Sanditon. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s a grilled cheese, homemade chicken noodle soup, and #Bridgerton season 4 kind of night.

On this day, 81 years ago, Auschwitz was liberated. Each year, we lose more and more Holocaust survivors. Soon there will be none left to tell us their first hand accounts of atrocities committed by the Nazis. This man is Irving Roth. He was a survivor. He passed in 2021. I learned his story in 2020

I got triple ducked today. They’re a little dirty and bit faded, but I’m happy to give them a loving home with my brood.
