Thread (1) Back in May my upstairs neighbor stabbed his ex girlfriend to death in his living room in the middle of the day. Thankfully neither my kid or I was home, but I’ve had lingering stress and panic attacks about our bedroom windows. It was a messy situation, he was not the initial aggressor.

Was asked to sit at the table for my company as they accepted an award at a charity banquet today. I knew I was making the right moves when I realized @rtlesserut10.bsky.social was also there.

I burnt my thumb on hot olive oil making tofu tonight so if you need me I’m being overly dramatic and crying on my floor. (There are much worse things in my life but this is what I’m fixating on)

I’ve done the same job, on the same program, in the same department, on the same team for over 2 1/2 years. Today I signed a document that puts me in an entirely new program with a rapid fire path to leadership. I am scared but also very excited. It’s still the same job, yet very different!

I spent yesterday dealing with the worst case of food poisoning of my life. If I wasn’t asleep I was violently ill. After getting medicine and then sleeping for 10 hours straight I woke up wanting food again. So naturally, as I do not learn from my mistakes, I ordered Taco Bell.
