The best scenic overlook of Charlottesville on the Monticello trails is high up its steepest and most difficult trail (Jason Stevens). Most people miss it hiking up hill, but when descending it a gap in the trees will briefly present this view.

You know when I loved college sports? When I was a kid and actually playing those sports myself. When I was in college, and that's it. Less and less every year since graduating. It's so inferior to pro sports that I have a hard time watching it.

I spent the last 4 days in Calgary Canada, which is a beautiful modern city that is ridiculously multicultural (and never bothered to think that was a big deal). There is no underlying tension or negative stereotype that people are predisposed with. They don't care, they just live and let live.
