I'm here to build connections with thoughtful and creative people so that I might grow, and also find reasons to pleasantly pass the time.

All photos are mine except reposts.

Searching for authentic wherever it might be.

Ok, at this point, with 780 posts, I can no longer remember the photos shared or comments expressed, so allow me to apologize in advance if I repeat myself, because nobody wants to be twice as boring. ;)

This is absolutely insane. Trump isn’t even trying in the least bit to cover up his corruption. He might as well just start making withdrawals directly from the U.S. Treasury. Pam Bondi can literally just settle this case and hand Trump billions of the American taxpayers dollars. 😡

I may have a stroke.

Someone said protests don’t belong in church and it took every ounce of self-censure within me not to say “Deborah you are literally a Protestant.”

A PROTESTant.

I assume they think Luther was nailing Bed, Bath, & Beyond coupons to the door.

Welcome back to another #FossilFriday

Here is the molar from an American Mastodon (Mammut americanum). This comes from Pleistocene deposits in San Jacinto County, Texas. Mastodons used their bumpy molars for grinding up twigs, leaf matter, and other shrubs.

Moonscape Overlook makes you stop mid-step and stare. In remote southern Utah, endless folds of blue-gray badlands, ridges, and shadowed gullies feel more lunar than earthly. No crowds, no guardrails—just wind, silence, and a horizon that stretches on forever.

Castle is the easternmost mountain of the Main Ranges in the Bow Valley and sits astride the Castle Mountain Fault. It was named in 1858 by James Hector for its castellated shape.

Seriously. It's ridiculous to see companies (and many of our elected officials) stay so neutral while even people and companies from across the globe are fighting harder.

Finally got around to a bit of research I'd been meaning to explore, and: There is no documented instance of an ICE officer being identified and assaulted while off duty because he wasn't masked. www.pbump.net/o/ices-excus...
ICE’s excuse for wearing masks has never actually manifested
There have been incidents of harassment and threats. But there are no apparent incidents in which identified ICE officers have been assaulted off-duty.
