GOP axed Rep. McKenzie bill for transparency in Bill Lee's scam to pay for 20k+ students' private school tuition. Lee argued against transparency saying that "no data 'of any value' exists because his scam is only 1 yr old. YET HE WANTS TO DOUBLE THE VOUCHERS?!

Of 34 private schools in Davidson Co taking vouchers, 27 are religious schools. Of 32 schools we have info for, the avg min tuition = $14,018. Therefore, to use a voucher, a family had to pay 50% of tuition. This tends to indicate most voucher recipients were already in private school, as with ESAs.

But you’re cool with free private school tuition? Sure, the state will give rich kids $7300 to attend private school but won’t give every kid a couple hundred dollars to eat?
The hypocrisy is astounding.
