Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

Nothing describes the soul of the Republican Party more than Pam Bondi citing the stock markets as her excuse for not going after pedophile billionaires.

I seem to remember the republicans pitching a fit over their government phone toll records being obtained by Jack Smith. Now, indeed, the Trump administration obtained Rep Jayapal’s unredacted Epstein Files search history without her knowledge or permission.

BREAKING

Judge Boasberg ORDERS the Trump admin to facilitate the return of the more than 100 men spirited out of the country last year without notice or a hearing.

Plaintiffs may also submit habeas petitions from abroad, he says.

Spoiler alert: When top officials have to start saying in an agency’s defense “no, no, no, that’s a totally legitimate law enforcement agency,” they have already lost and it is, in fact, no longer a legitimate law enforcement agency.
Homan: "ICE is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process."

He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational
Homan: "Operation Metro Surge is ending. In the next week, we're going to deploy the officers here on detail back to their home stations or to other areas of the country where they're needed."

Forget the useless so-called “reforms” to ICE and policing currently on offer. We need much more fundamental change.

Johnson keeps saying "trained activists" like he's saying "convicted murderers." This is essential to the right's project: if the left gets its shit together, that means its democratic participation is inherently illegitimate.

It’s the Epstein Administration.

No wonder Bondi spent the entire hearing screeching and deflecting.

I can't think of an attorney general ever showing this much open contempt for Congress before.

Not only would most of them think this kind of conduct was beneath them, they'd have known that the Judiciary Committee chair, whatever the party, would never stand for clownish antics like this.

Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

Frost on seeing the "unredacted" Epstein files: A few takeaways. Number one, there's a lot of documents that are still redacted. When I asked the DOJ about it, they said they received it that way, which means that Kash FBI kept them redacted when they gave it to the DOJ, which is interesting...

Ring’s national expansion closely tracked Amazon’s own established growth strategy: ignoring near term profit to secure platform dominance. It did this by subsidizing the devices through police-driven distribution (literally free giveaways for people willing to download its neighborhood snitch app)
They badly bungled this. There are many applications of this technology (Missing child! Missing dementia patient! Abusive ex-husband kidnapped the kids! Dzhokhar Tsarnaev!) that most people would likely support if they trusted the company not to abuse the tech. 1/2

Dell has been on this beat since the very beginning and points out a thing often missed: the cost to all of us for Amazon’s loss prevention strategy is a nationwide surveillance network.
Ring is first and foremost a scheme to charge Amazon customers to deter crime that costs Amazon (not the customers themselves) billions annually in refunds, returns, double shipping, and customer service overhead.

Like in the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, DHS might have gotten away with its false claims about Martinez were it not for the video evidence that contradicted its account.
DHS shot her and called her a “terrorist.” New videos show something different.
"It’s time to get aggressive," a Border Patrol agent said shortly before Marimar Martinez was shot five times.
