The Bucks are inexplicably built for the Cup!
Bucks shot 35-for-51 (69%) on 2-pointers & 20-for-34 (59%) on 3-pointers (including 10-for-10 from the corners) vs. the Hornets last night.

Their effective FG% of 76.5% was the 13th highest for any game in NBA history (highest in NBA Cup history).

OH. Good to know, thank you!

Is THAT what's going on there? Basically the only reasons we go to Target is for baby clothes and we sat there trying to find a price tag on a three-pack of pants for several minutes yesterday ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Man, their imaginary Democratic Party sounds so much cooler than the one that actually exists
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"

Same! I turned it on with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th and I'm like "why did I ever stop watching baseball??"

Josh Hart, having missed most of the preseason and first game of the season with a back injury and has a lingering finger injury that will likely require surgery, has 13 rebounds in 18 minutes.

I wonder how much Deuce can fill in, especially in lineups with KAT working out of the high post more (I hope)

To the Charlotte Hornets: WHAT DO YOU DO!? You had all summer to figure out what you do!!

That show is a WILD ride, man. As already noted, Carrie Coon is the best in everything ever.

He was one of many MVPs of the film. I really don't think it works as well without his character and the specific vibe he brings to it (specifically how much his energy differs from Bob's).

This is even less of a hot take than I remembered. What an album! Probably in my top 5 of his (which sounds like feeling praise, but the guy has so many great albums).

What a fruitful interaction ๐Ÿ˜… I already got my copy out so that I won't forget.

It's been too long since I've listened to any of these, though! I'm going to have to pop on B&C tomorrow. "I Hope You're Happy Now" is an all-timer.

It's not my favorite, but I think that's a reasonable choice. It's a great album! My favorite not-obvious Costello is Get Happy!! It's got too many songs and not all of them are great, but so many of them are!

King of America is top notch. Blood & Chocolate, which came out the same year, might be even better (if you don't already know it).

I always think it's funny that they had him do "Yellow Submarine" and he was like "Okay, well I'll write my own this time" and wrote "Octopus' Garden"

I don't know what this is about, I'm stoked to continue not knowing what this is about, and also I think that should 100% be your job.

It's a small thing, but this is why it drives me crazy when people imply that it's stupid to have kids right now. If that's the case, what are we trying to do at all? Why not just lay down and die?
The Third Reich didn't last 1,000 years.

Pinochet was ousted with a referendum.

And the US isn't exactly dealing with the smartest, most competent fascists.

Those of you insisting that 2025 is forever need to read a book, touch grass, go to therapy, anything other than trying to make others quit.
