"Life's too short to worry,
Life's too long to wait,
Life’s too short not to love everybody And life is too long to hate
I meet a lot of men who haggle, finagle all the time,
Tryin' to save a nickel and make a dime Not me, no sir-ee,
You know I ain't got the time”

"I was never under the impression that my rights would be respected. I also recognized… that if you don't assert your rights because you're afraid...or demoralized...then you've already given them up. You've let them be taken away. And I was determined not to do that."

If you or anyone you know is hungry today, never forget who's responsible when you vote them out of office. Tell them, "you're fired."

And if you have means to do so, consider a donation to a local food bank to help your neighbors. You might be surprised how much hunger is happening right nearby.
This is what oligarchy looks like:

If you're Elon Musk, the richest man alive, Tesla gives you a $1 trillion pay package & Trump gives you a huge tax break.

If you're a poor kid on SNAP, Trump appeals a court decision that would have prevented you from going hungry.

Obscene.

Kissinger said, "Chile is a dagger pointed right at the heart of...Antarctica."

What will families of American servicemen make of a leader who fabricates a war against a non-threat? That maybe, just maybe it's time to take the keys away from Grandpa?

Jon Stewart in fine form after getting extended to year end 2026. And so much material to work with. I'll take outrage comedy over outrage media every time.

You can turn it off at 19:10. I know you won't, but just saying.

The president and half his cabinet are billionaires. Not only do they not represent you, they can't. They have no idea what your life is like or what your needs might be.

Like him or not, Joe Biden tried to build a cabinet that looked like America.

Trump has a cabinet that looks like him.

Yuck.

What more needs to be said?
Graduate seminar did a deep dive on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense yesterday. At the line, “in America the law is king,” they (14 students from 6 countries) burst out laughing. I've been doing this for 35 years and this is the first time that was a laugh line.

So when the Ukrainians turn over the Sudetenland, I mean Donetsk, then it will be peace in our time?
🇺🇸❗️🇺🇦 WP: Witkoff pressed the Ukrainian delegation about handing over Donetsk during the meeting Friday, noting that the region is mostly Russian-speaking, a frequent Kremlin talking point that Ukrainian and European officials view as sympathetic to Russia’s demands.

I'll come out on 10/18 as an American who loves his country. I'm not pro-Hamas or a communist.

I'm against:
Bigotry
Abuse of power
Liars &
Moral cowardice.

I'll be there cause I hate Johnson, Thune & the other stooges backing an anti-Constitutional, anti-Democratic & anti-American administration.
