The “capitulation“ from media, academia, tech is because they don’t see the loss of democracy as a problem, they recognize it is a solution. Only some of us will make it through the climate crisis. When population reduction is the goal, there is no need for gov’t of, by, and for the people.
the Master Plan.

shut down government

refuse public services. the weak die off

start a civil or world war

reduce the population

She’s got a point. Can’t remember the last time I went to a ball.
GOV. WHITMER: “.. no one is worried about building a ballroom in Washington, D.C. What they want is to make sure that they can feed their kids next week.” Most Americans are “never going to step foot in a ballroom over the course of their lifetime.”

Mike Osterholm-led Vaccine Integrity Project makes its YouTube debut Tuesday, reviewing the science behind COVID, flu and RSV immunizations. This is a worthy counter to RFK Jr’s fool’s “gold standard” of science. www.startribune.com/robert-f-ken...

Please let this be the beginning of more reporting on his deficits.
The unabomber story is a good one, it’s undeniable that Trump is imagining things that aren’t real.

Not only does he not understand who pays tariffs, clearly no one around him knows how to do a mail merge. It is taking three days to send the letters. Government efficiency, indeed.
Still doesn’t get it.

These comments are wild. Obsolete doesn’t mean YOU will stop reading.
People have a failure of imagination when it comes to the potential transformative power of AI.
Will reading become obsolete? How A.I. could transform our relationship to the written word.
What’s Happening to Reading?
For many people, A.I. may be bringing the age of traditional text to an end.

I was a freshman XC runner boarding flight with the team back to college town. I spotted Renee Richards who played tennis at our campus. She had recently transitioned, and I got her autograph. She was a trans trailblazer back in 1979 and I admired her bravery.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

They want to keep the system of a second class of non-voting, low wage laborers.
Take a listen and seriously consider it. While this is not an uncommon practice, I am glad people are beginning to speak up about it.

"Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred is only a means to an end, and that end is his own glorification. That's his spiritual nourishment."

The budget bill doesn’t talk about Medicare cuts, but according to the CBO, $500bn in cuts to Medicare would be triggered automatically by the PayGo law.
Healthcare in America is going to go through some things.
